Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for Tactical Intelliigence Security (TAISE)

Applies to: All clients, users, and third parties accessing or using TAISE’s services, platforms, hardware, networks, or facilities.

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) defines prohibited activities and responsibilities for anyone using TAISE’s services – including managed security, cloud platforms, remote access tools, CCTV systems, access control systems, and consulting deliverables. This Policy protects TAISE, our clients, and the public from harm, legal liability, and security breaches.

2. Scope
This Policy applies to:

  • All TAISE services (cybersecurity, physical security, cloud migration, IT support).

  • All user types: Client employees, contractors, vendors, and any third party granted access through TAISE systems.

  • Any device or network connected to TAISE-managed infrastructure.

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not use TAISE’s services or systems for any of the following:

Illegal PurposesViolating any local, national, or international law (e.g., Ghanaian cybercrime laws, GDPR, surveillance laws).
Cyber AttacksLaunching denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, hacking, phishing, malware distribution, password cracking, or scanning for vulnerabilities on systems outside your authorized scope.
Unauthorized AccessAttempting to bypass security measures, access data you are not permitted to see, or tamper with TAISE’s internal management platforms.
Physical Security MisuseUsing CCTV or access control systems to:
– Stalk, harass, or unlawfully monitor individuals.
– Discriminate based on race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics.
– Record areas where privacy is expected (bathrooms, changing rooms, medical exam rooms) without explicit legal consent.
Data BreachesIntentionally exposing, leaking, or selling confidential data (your own or others’) obtained via TAISE services.
Network AbuseSending spam, operating open relays, hosting child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any activity that degrades service for other TAISE clients.
Reselling ServicesReselling or sublicensing TAISE services to a third party without prior written permission.
Reverse EngineeringDisassembling, decompiling, or reverse engineering any TAISE software, appliances, or security tools.
Falsifying InformationProviding false identities, forged logs, or misleading alerts to TAISE support or monitoring teams.

4. Client Responsibilities for End Users

If you are a TAISE client (e.g., a business, school, or healthcare provider using our security services), you must:

  • Inform your employees, contractors, and visitors that surveillance systems (CCTV, access logs) are in use.

  • Post clear signage as required by local law.

  • Obtain any necessary consent before monitoring.

  • Promptly revoke access for terminated employees.

  • Report any suspected violation of this Policy to TAISE within 24 hours.

5. Enforcement & Consequences

If you violate this Policy – or if we receive a valid court order, law enforcement request, or credible complaint – TAISE may:

  • Immediately suspend or terminate your access to services without prior notice.

  • Isolate or disconnect your systems from TAISE-managed networks to prevent harm to others.

  • Preserve and review logs, CCTV footage, and access records related to the violation.

  • Notify law enforcement and cooperate fully with investigations.

  • Charge you for all costs incurred by TAISE (investigation, remediation, legal fees) arising from your violation.

We will attempt to notify you before suspension unless doing so would compromise an investigation or violate the law.

6. No Warranties & Limitation of Liability

  • TAISE does not guarantee that we will detect every violation of this Policy. You remain solely responsible for your users’ conduct.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, TAISE is not liable for any damages resulting from your violation of this Policy, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, fines, or legal judgments against you.

7. Reporting Violations & Abuse

If you become aware of any violation of this Policy – or if you suspect a TAISE client is misusing our services (e.g., using our CCTV for stalking, or our hosted platform to attack others) – please report it immediately:

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. You may report anonymously where permitted by law.

8. Amendments
TAISE may update this Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active clients or a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

9. Relationship to Other Agreements
This Policy is part of, and incorporated by reference into, your Terms & Conditions and Service Agreement with TAISE. In case of a direct conflict, the Service Agreement controls.
